The WORLD Science Fiction convention! →
The 69th World-wide SciFi Con (a.k.a. WorldCon) is going to be held here in August! They have held one every year since 1939 - all over the world! It is a little pricey to go, but it’s going to be five days of AWESOME! I think I am going to volunteer to help out. This is one convention not to be missed when it’s in the United States - especially when it’s in the city I live in!!!...

This place is FANTASTIC!!! You can rent your textbooks from them for the semester, or sell your used textbooks to them for recycling! To top it off, they plant a tree for every transaction! I will definitely be looking into using this method more often.

Ice Planets! →
In one of my favorite shows ever - Firefly. There is a famous (or maybe, infamous?) line spoken by one of the characters, River Tam (Summer Glau) - “My food is problematic” while holding what looks to be a circular, spikey ball of ice on a stick. Well, the geniuses at Tasty Planner figured out how to make one - AWESOME :D This is added to the list of things to do in the near future.
